Mid-South Local Chapter

Hello. Some of you may have received a private message from me regarding starting a local chapter for the Mid-South (Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi). I tried to message anyone that had their location listed as about a 75 mile radius from Memphis. If you didn't get the message, or live farther away but are still interested, please either respond to this post or send me a private message.
I would like to try to have a get-to-know-everyone meeting sometime soon (hopefully before we all get to busy with the Christmas season). Thank you in advance for everyone's interest.

Don't be shy guys. Even if you sent me a private message about starting a local chapter, please reply to the thread also so that more people in the area know that there is interest. I will probably try to set up a first meeting sometime this week for the near future.

I might be interested in coming out, depending on when it is. I'm working a tour in New England till mid December. I'm out in Knoxville. Let me know when your getting everyone together and I'll see what I can do.

Wow! I have received awesome response to this little idea of mine. In only a day and a half, 12 people have said they liked the idea and wanted to move forward with it. I am thinking about having a first meeting on November 17 to get to know each other. Please let me know if this is a bad date for. I am hoping to be able to get started before the Christmas season starts. (Now if I can only figure out what else to do...any ideas?)

Sadly I wouldn't be able to make it because I have a meeting on the 18th for an upcoming job on the other end of the state. Maybe next time.

Is there a better time for you? I just picked a Saturday before the Christmas season in hopes of not being one more thing to distract during a busy season.

We have a worship service on Saturday night. I can make that day if the meeting is in the morning, and I can get back to Jackson by 5pm, which should be no problem as I'm just an hour away.

17th wii work for me. Could we work in a visit to Cold Stones, than it would officially be a Church media meeting, lol. Hi susan, good to have another n.e Arkansas person on the list. I admire all the good work that Soutwest church does in the area.
