I'm living in the most southern and western part of Cali and was wondering if there are any media types out here so that we can exchange idea or even someone with more knowledge that could help me make my media stuff better.

Well, I don't know about California but you can do that right here! It's really what we're all about.
There are some active local groups, if you don't have one near you go ahead and start one.

I'm just over the hill from you at Foothills UMC. But I have to be honest and tell you that we are still in visual media infancy; a lot of what I have learned and gathered has come from this wonderful community. I'd be happy to talk/meet with you, but I don't have anywhere near the experience, understanding, or knowledge of the vast majority of the CMN community.

Hello, nice to hear that you are just starting as well, I've got a little bit of knowledege in this field. Our church is working with Mediashout vs 2.5, on my personnel laptop because the church when out and got a new computer with microsoft vista on it and I haven't found a duel video card that will work with vista yet.
I'm still trying to learn how to make it look good. So any help would be greatly apprecated.

Why not just put a second video card in, rather than find a dual output one?

Thanks Deb! I'll have to check and see if the e-machine will accept another Vid-card. It would save me alot of wear and tear on my equipment. Thanks again.

...another thing to check is whether the existing pc has on-board video. If it does, then likely adding a video card will disable the existing video, so you'd still need a dual output board.
