Intel Pro 100 in Ubuntu Server LTS 8

Hey,

I have a server that has a Intel Pro 100/VE card. I can't access the network because ubuntu doesn't recognize it. Is their a way that I can download a file and try and transport it to the computer. I'm working completely in terminal (No GUI) so things are a little more complicated than usual.

Thanks.

You can burn it to a CD, use a thumb drive, mobile hard drive, or anything you'd normally use sans internet. If you tell me which medium you'll use I'll give you exact instructions. Also, how familiar are you with Linux and the Linux shell?

I finally got it to work by reinstalling the OS with an active connection. I'm not that familiar with the kernel or terminal, but am willing to learn.

Thanks.
