In addition to graphics I would like and could use things such as secular music that fits the theme. For example, and I've posted this before, we used "People Get Ready" by Curtis Mayfield for Luke 9: 51 - 62 for the fifth Sunday after Pentecost in 2007. It was recommended in the download I purchased from Lumicon. I also used the film clip that came with it. This particular set was made by Len Wilson and Jason Moore when they were still with Lumicon.
Besides secular music, of course, recommendations for contemporary religious music as well as traditional music.
Plays, skits could also be added.
The beauty about the lectionary is...it rotates on a 3 year cycle...so, this library would build upon itself. It also gets a congregation thru the Bible in 3 years. I'll let Pastor Dan give the nitty-gritty on the lectionary. I love it. I find a certain communion with others knowing other congregations are hearing, reading, studying the same word of God. There is beauty in the power of the numbers.
On another note...a co-worker of mine who is Methodist...she and I will compare notes on our sermons and the different twist taken by our ministers.
Tim Hyde at LivingOS (a UK-based Baptist who uses the lectionary) posts lectionary-related stuff fairly regularly. His lectionary background images here on Flickr or here on his own blog.
