iphone video switcher

So I'm kinda geeked about this latest project I've been tinkering with. I was asked if I could build an interface for a recently purchased routing switcher which will be back in a video booth not easily accessible. The result of my tinkering is an iphone video switcher web app.

Check out the video below for a demo I created that shows the basics of it's operation.

WAY Cool. I imagine it would work just as well on the iPad

yup, works great.

This project got me thinking though that it wouldn't be hard to build an interface that turned a more elaborate routing switcher into a full blown multi me production switcher.

Imagine the ability to have multiple control surfaces (ipad/or even a hardware connected interface via usb) controlling one routing switch chassis that has the ability to do clean transitions. So you could have one director calling the production feed that perhaps goes to live streaming/dvd capture. Then have another director taking the production feed and intercutting video playback for imag.
