| Here is an interesting turn of events... A week ago I was battling the audio delay problem for live front of house IMAG audio / video sync... now I find myself asking a question about purposely delaying the audio for recording sake ![]() We are going to have to continue making DVD's for the church members that aren't Blu-Ray ready... so for this we are going to import the video via HD-SDI from our mixer through a Black Magic Multibridge Pro into an Apple MacPro. The Audio is going to come directly from our Yamaha M7CL32 mixer... left / right XLR. I was wondering what hardware to buy to delay the sound from the mixer to ensure it is 100% in sync with the video from the HD-SDI mixer. We are using an Aja GEN10 to genlock the video between our 4 HD cameras and 1 HD mixer. Thanks in advance, I love this site ![]() |

| The M7CL does delay outputs...but I wanted a dedicated hardware option so that we can error proof it. We are also looking at splitting the audio with some ART S8 XLR splitters and having a pair of Yamaha O1V Digital mixers to control the video recording sound... as it is should be independant of the live front of house sound that our M7CL is mixing. I dont think the O1V's delay sound ... therefore to error proof and future proof the system I was looking for suggestions for a dedicated audio delay hardware solution. Thanks for the feedback I will look AD22S ... any other suggestions? Anything tailored towards HD vs SD? Thanks! |
