| Cory, Can you see the other COM ports or are you not seeing them at all? Do you have Guest Tools installed? Found this tidbit on the Parallels KB: Try to connect this device to a physical Windows PC or to a Boot Camp partition and check in the Device Manager whether it is shown under COM/LPT ports node. If yes, that means you have to add this device to COM port: 1. Stop the virtual machine (VM) 2. Click Configure -> Add new device -> Parallel Port 3. Select "Use output file" 4. Click OK and start the VM 5. Go to the Device Manager and make sure that LPT/COM ports item appeared 6. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Add hardware 7. Let Windows search for new hardware - it will most probably find nothing and give you a choice: "If you know the type of your hardware, click Next" 8. Click Next and find your device in the list 9. Add it 10. Try to synchronize with the device through COM port. |
