Ripping a DVD

Hey all.

I have been having issues with ripping a DVD (trust me its not copyrighted, ha) I used Handbrake, which I normally do. For some reason, it is only ripping small clips of the entire video. I also tried "MactheRipper," but no avail. It wants to make the file 56 gigs. Anyone have any ideas, or know of other opensoure/free programs that I can give try?

Thanks for the help!

Are you wanting to do it to duplicate it, or to edit?
If it's not copywritten material and not copy protected, you can use Disk Utility to make an image of the DVD as a CD/DVD Master.

You can try MPEG streamclip, too. I've used it to rip archived services for reediting.
