| I'm pretty sure WMV is a licensed codec, or at least if its not running on the windows platform, so I think I free program for mac might be out of the equation. Have a look at: http://www.xilisoft.com/video-converter-mac.html It claimed to be able to do WMV, but i'd check out the demo first to make sure it does a decent job. |

| Microsoft offers Windows MediaŽ Components for QuickTime by Flip4Mac™ Flip4Mac has more full featured products. Looks like you can play for free and convert to Quicktime for $29. You'd have to look at the chart to see what level you'd need. Sorry, just read Jon's response. Didn't mean to duplicate the info.

| If you have a PC available, download Super. It's a great little program for converting just about anything to anything. (Just a word of warning, it's about the worst website design ever. You have to click through several pages to get to the actual download.) |

| I have used After Effects to do this before. Might be way over kill. Here is a major problem with Mac & PC. Not all codecs for Quicktime are on the PC and not all WMV codecs are on the mac. What I recommend exporting using the mac quicktime h264 files and then using a pc to convert them to the WMV desired. |
