Computer opinon on used imac

I need to know if this is a good buy for 500. I don't know much about IMac so help me out here

I'm sorry I don't know the value of Macs, but I'll offer this advice I've learned: Don't buy used equipment. Trust me, I have been tempted many times, but unless it's just a steal (less than ~30% the price new) it's worth saving up a bit longer, or buying a little less new.
This is especially true with complicated/intricate items like computers.

I use the pricing guides at lowendmac.com to determine what the going rates are for new, used and refurbished macs. Look for the link on the top of their landing page labeled "Deals".
