New MacPro with updated video card

So I just saw the new MacPro release news today (new specs here)
I use an older G5 at work (same enclosure) but these better specs really got me thinking about making the ultimate Mac hardware based presentation computer. The new NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB optional video card sounds really powerful too.
Although I'm an avid Mac user, I am locked in to MediaShout at work and church so I've never had a need to post in this area of CMN before (in other words, maybe this is a repeated post... I apologize). Anyhow, if I ever had the budget to do it, I would love to use a MacPro with all the RenewedVision products installed, Keynote, PPT 2008 for mac and boot camp set up with MediaShout (just because it's possible).
Speaking of, has anyone ever used VMware or Parallels for Windows-based presentation software? I use VMware at home and absolutely LOVE IT! The problem is that it has a harder time connecting to external devices. Does it have trouble with outputting to external displays as well?
Wow. That was the most random, discombobulated post I've ever written. Oh well.

Mac's now run Windows too, so it's OK.
I know of a few of my clients using Parallels, but note necessarily with external devices. As soon as I find out anything, I'll let you know.

I was really tempted to get my church to switch over when ProVideoPlayer was released (I remember reading about it before it was available for public purchase). Anyhow, I needed it to accomplish a double-wide screen playback scenario. Finally I went with the Matrox TrippleHead2Go and fed it through MediaShout. It actually worked fine but there were many tweaks that had to be made (such as font size on all text displayed).
Oh well... someday it would be fun to play with a real piece of graphics hardware in the presentation setting.
