Capturing HD

Below are the specs on the new PC I just got. I wanted some input on capturing HD video. Right now I have a consumer grade canon HF-S100. I can switch the output betweem 1080i and 480i component. We have a second camera that is a PTZ Sony EVI-D70 that I have to take through a canopus DV 100 and firewire into the computer. The picture isnt that great, and I have to re-size and crop it to 16:9 (I primarily use it for a wide shot while I transition the primary camera). We're using Vidblaster, because it will switch and record, as well as stream. Should I be looking for a decent second hand 4:3 camera to replace the HFS100, or try to pick up a cheap HD (web?) cam for our wide shot and take HD into the PC from both cams?
