| Help building controller for SOny FCB-H11 HD Block Camera Can someone point me in the right direction. I have a project in which I am looking to use a Sony FCB-H11 HD bock camera. I need to build a controller that will allow me to use 3 momentary rocker switches to control the zoom, iris and focus. It must be a standalone controller that is not connected to a PC. Here is a link to controller that is a sort of what I'm looking for: Remotevisionsource has something close to the type I am looking to build. |

| Are you taking about VISCA? http://sourceforge.net/projects/libvisca/ some C language core code http://ws.sel.sony.com/PIPWebService..._TM%28E%29.pdf commands for device You could consider using a Microchip PIC processor. A development kit would include board and RS232 connection. The camera body is TTL so a onboard level converter is needed. Unless you are putting this on the end of a jib....too much work! |
