Video capture HELPPPPP

I need and advice. I want to find PC base (i7 processor not xeon) computer or hardware that can support Decklink SDI or Studio or AJA Kona Lhe since we cannot affort Mac base equipment yet.

Our budget is around $1,000-$1,500 without the Decklink / aja card. I've read many post that people using Asus P6T motherboard and succeed. If you have any experience with this, please kindly share OR any input also greatly appreciated.

AJA KI_PRO

I know your budget is thin but.... At our church we run a full HDSDI backbone and we used to capture into a mac pro with a MOTU capture deck which ran about 1500.00 for the deck. The problem we had with it was capturing full 1080 HD was to cumbersome for the mac pro. But the MOTU rack was great. If you are running and SDI backbone and not capturing HD I would recommend the MOTU deck. However, we just upgraded to the new AJA KIPRO deck and they are phenomenal. They run about 3500.00 but totally worth the buy. Let me know if you have any questions and I will try to help you out as much as possible.
