| There's an easy way, but it's not good. You can just have them stretch. most abstracts will be ok, but any no-abstracted elements on the graphic won't look right. The canvas size you should use is whatever the native resolution of your new projector is. I did a conference with 16:9 screens and just edited my backgrounds as I needed them. A little creative / controlled stretching in the right places made them look a lot better than just letting them stretch by themselves.
