| Photoshop Layers jumping when selected I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS4 and a Lazer DeathAdder mouse. Sometimes when I select a later, it jumps. Sometimes way off the page. I have to zoom out to find it. I've seen this when I click on it directly and (less often), when I click on it in the layers panel. I press Cntl-Z and all is find and usually when I select it again, it doesn't jump. Anyone else seen that? I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with the 64-bit version of Photoshop. I think this is what is happening with my layer masks, as well (See other thread). When I select a layer with a layer mask, the mask jumps down and to the right (quite often). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| I've seen similar issues in the past and have narrowed them down to mouse driver issues. A couple of things to try: 1 - Update your mouse driver to the latest version - make sure it's a 64-bit driver! 2 - Try completely uninstalling the mouse driver and using a default one. 3 - Try a Microsoft mouse, with the appropriate driver (not recommending Microsoft - just a troubleshooting step that's helped me in the past!) Hopefully, at least one of these steps will reveal something to you to help you move on and resolve the problem. Hope this helps! ![]() God bless, -John. |

| Thanks. Makes sense. I'll give those a shot. This has been happening for a while and I just now thought of the possible mouse connection.
