| Animated Lower Thirds Does anyone know of a source to purchase animated lower thirds? I've looked at the Editor's Tool Kit from Digital Juice and love what they offer, but do not have the budget to make this purchase. Where can I purchase one or two animated lower thirds? Our church is just getting started in video and I don't have a budget at all. Thanks for your help. Posted by Greg on Jul 9, 2002. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Greg - Try these guys out. I believe they will let you buy only a couple as well. http://www.3dbackgrounds.com/abstractmotion1.html http://www.3dbackgrounds.com/abstractmotion2.html http://www.3dbackgrounds.com/abstractmotion3.html -120 new abstract-type animations designed with lower thirds and masking in mind. -Comes with 10 masks for you to use to overlay with your videos! -All 120 animations can be used "as-is" for stand alone looping backgrounds. Hope that helps, Doug Posted by Doug on Jul 11, 2002. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This message is from "David Sheneman" --------------------------------------- Greg, Check out http://www.3dbackgrounds.com/abstract_animations.html These are actually full size moving backgrounds, but they include something like 10 or more masks that can be used to create lower third animated backgrounds using extra layers in your editing software (most good programs support this). I can't say much about the Abstract Motion animations, since they were just put up today (at least that's when I noticed them), but I just purchased their whole set of Corporate Motion backgrounds (3 volumes) and the Wedding Motion package and most of those are very high quality. It's not Digital Juice, but I got them for about $60 per set, instead of $250. You could also just purchase any of these backgrounds and make your own masks in Photoshop (or whatever your favorite application is). It's usually just a white bar over black (or the reverse, depending on the editing software you're using) with some transparency or something, depending on what you want to see.
