Don't forget lens flare and using the rectangle tool!! This could get to be an addiction. . . . . .gotta love those filters!! Now, if I can just figure out how to get the plug-ins to work. . . . .

As you get deeper in, spend a little time with some of the effects on smart layers (which makes them smart filters...i.e. editable) and try to use layered filters so it's not as obvious what the effect was. It's amazing what you can get with multiple filters combined. And no one will be able to duplicate it...including yourself.

That happened to me once..... sometimes it's worth keeping a written log of what you've done when you are going to set up a particularly complex effect. I've tried to no avail to recreate an effect and ultimately gave up after several hours.
