I like the darker one. And I think the feathering looks fine.

I would probably have the trumpets pointing down from heaven, but I guess it depends on what you are after with the image.

For an illustration, the lighter one. For a song background, the darker one, though I might have moved the lightning over further to make more space for lyrics.

Goodness! You're right! I need to make them turning down! Ok, how's this? I put it in a powerpoint slide and added some text, and it seemed to work out fine, as long as I position the text right.
