Dubya MXC Gallery Comment Thread

I'm not currently a member of the MXC, and don't foresee being financially able to join at least for the near future. However, I love to occasionally share my work, when I feel that it's of the quality that others may benefit from.

Since I'm not a member of the MXC, if you comment on one of my photos, I can't see it, so I'm starting this thread for feedback. Please leave any comments/requests here and I'll do my best to address it.

Thanks.
Dubya

I commented on your Gallille Framed

I like it a lot. The color and composition are great and the gold frame adds a nice accent.

I haven't commented on any specifically, but I appreciate you uploading them all. As Joel says, the Galilee one is great (been there, done that, with putting together elements to create a pic, though mine was for Noah and the ark). I also like the net ones:

Thanks for the input guys...the net pic that you posted the thumb to was a great find on a free stock photo website. I love it when the pic is interesting enough that you can get away with doing minimal editing. All I added was a sepia tone layer + text.

I think the Galilee composition might be my favorite creation that I've done. We needed a background for an Easter choir song, and I just couldn't find what I was picturing in my mind, so I started experimenting and that image was the result. I'm usually not that successful in converting the image in my mind's eye onto the screen, so it was nice to pull it off for once.

I really like the Galilee one too - and several others.

However, I think you should be able to see the small versions of your pictures and the comments on them in the MXC - you just can't see them full-size. Is that incorrect?

I can see the thumbs of MXC pics, but when someone comments, you have to go to the full view to read it.
