PP w/ other worship software

Hi All,

Which worship software (if any) support native PP 2010 64 bit files? I was looking at going with EW but it looks like it only supports 32 bit.

Thanks

John

I'm assuming you're referring to PowerPoint 2010. I would be quite surprised if there was a difference in the file structure between 32 & 64-bit PowerPoint. Microsoft has moved to an XML-based file structure in their office products, so anything created in a 32-bit version will be compatible with the 64-bit version and vice-versa.

As far as I know, there are no differenced between the file structure created by 32 and 64 bit versions of powerpoint.

However, you may need the 32 bit executibles to work with EasyWorship. I'm pretty sure that's the case with SongShow Plus.

ProPresenter can handle PowerPoint files (no difference with 32-bit vs 64-bit as far as I know) as long as you have PPT 2007 or 2010 installed on a PC. It requires 2008 or 2011 on Mac.

Media Shout also uses Powerpoint 2010. I think most major software does.
