| What Fonts Do You Guys Use For Lyrics? I've been on my church's media team for about 3 years now, and I just happened to notice that we've been using Arial Bold, 34pt. for the last 3 years almost. The person on the team who made this the default font is no longer with us on the team, so I thought it was time for a change. I personally find these fonts to work very well and they're something different (not the same old Arial, Times New Roman, Tahoma, etc.) - Avenir, bold (GREAT font, easily readable from distances, relatively cheap, gives a different look than the same ol' Arial or whatnot) - This is the font we are currently using in lyrics and bible verses. -Helvetica Bold Condensed - We use this font every now and then. The thing I like about this font is it's relatively easy to read from distances AND you can fit more words per line. No more one word lines. -Myriad Pro - Another great sans-serif that's clear and easy to read. So I'm curious as to what fonts everyone else uses out there for lyrics, bible verses, sermon notes, fast songs, slow songs, etc....... |

| We are currently using Futura Bold because it goes with the series graphics. For the previous series, we used Harabara. Before that, we pretty much used Veranda Bold.

| We stick with the sans serif families. Currently still using various weights and widths of Arial. We also see use of the Helvetica family, Futura, etc. Pretty much everything from our projected materials to our printed materials keep the same basic look and feel. There's still a few leftover printed items that need to change, but fortunately that is someone elses garden to dig in! |

| In our old building we used Arial (Bold I think) in PowerPoint. But when we moved into our new building in April and started using ProPresenter, I was able to change things up a bit. We moved to Optima Bold. I am a huge fan of this font, and now I am using it everywhere. It is nice and bold, but also slightly quirky. While you can buy it online, it comes with the latest version of Office, so if you have Office 2007/2008 then you have this font. Every once in a while, for a sermon series, we will change the font of the sermon slides (for example we recently did a sermon series titled "LOST?" and I used a LOST based font). But even then we only use the different font on the sermon slides, everything else is Optima Bold. Matthew |

| Ogirema Bold has been working really nicely for us the past few months. It's a sans serif font but the strokes have varying widths, so there's a bit of elegance to it as well. |

systems, the thinner strokes can get a bit lost, making it less readable, so try it out first. |

| I use Swis721 font family. It has a lot of different variations from condensed to extra bold. Of that font family, I typically use Swis 721 Condensed BT Roman.
