We use Compix Media and Chyron Lyric Pro. And maybe this puts us in a different category of media because we use broadcast equipment & commercial grade desktop PC's vs. many churches that use Mini-DV's and Laptops.

definitely, Ted.

while we have a lot of folks here that are doing broadcast or complex production for in-house use, the overwhelming majority are using a desktop or laptop with one of these presentation packages. (Although isn't Compix more of a character generator, making Chyron's product your primary software?)

Actually we use the Compix mainly for the presentations. Like many of the other packages listed, we can do video clips, motion backgrounds, etc. The Chyron operates in one of our other buildings and we will import powerpoint slides as jpegs if someone needed to use the system.

We use two different systems (PC in the sanctuary, Mac in the youth room) so our poll was a little different. We use SongShow Plus in our sanctuary and our youth staff uses ProPresenter. We just got it and love it!

We actually use 2 products mainly. Presenter for Song Words and MediaShout for everything else (Video Clips, Lower 3rd Overlay Etc)

We're definitely atypical: Lyricue for lyrics and other CG tasks, another Lyricue box for images, and VLC for playback when we do that.

Just upgraded to MS V4 - it's different, some things I like, some I don't and some will probably just take some getting used to.
As far as the poll goes - is it possible to break things down in to FREE and PAID software? Not that it matters, just thought it might be interesting.
