you asked about OpenLP, I have used it and like it. it is stable and shows powerpoint files well. It also has a video player in it.

To manage Powerpoint files which is what I do, I use Beamer. http://sourceforge.net/projects/beamer/

it is also open source and you put the powerpoints you want in the folder and it plays them. If I need a video I just insert one in powerpoint and use that slide. I have used this for over a year and it has never crashed on me. I like it.

As the other post said, one very good free program is zionworx found at www.zionworx.org.uk. Fairly bareboned but does have powerpoint integration and is very easy to use. We have used it for about 4 years and have had no real problems. They are working on an upgrade to add text over video but that may be a few months down the road

One word... EasyWorship. Been using it for years and it does absolutely everything with ease.
This makes any volunteer
