| Need web hosting advice We are looking to revamp our church website and we decided to go with a wordpress site for ease of content management, since most who will be maintaining it have no coding knowledge. Also, we plan on using google apps for email and calendar. We currently have the Business hosting plan at aplus.net. All I can say is that it's complete overkill. It has 200gb of storage and 2tb of monthly transfer. We won't ever fill that up, even in 20 years. Most of our congregation is elderly and don't even know how to use computers, so our website will mainly be for people who are looking for more information about the church(not members). I'll probably also start uploading sermons, scripture readings, and audio recording stuff like that in the future, no videos or other huge files. I've got everything pretty much planned out, except for the host. We don't need an enormous amount of storage, transfer, ftp accounts, databases, emails, and whatever else. I'm just looking for something cheap without fancy features that we will never use. I've used e-rice.net (and it's great, just what it says it is) before but I would like something a little better than that. Just let me know what smaller hosting packages/companies you've used and had good luck with. Just a little note, I believe that our church being kind of small isn't a 501c3 organization, so the free dreamhost plan is out of the question. ![]() Thanks |

| I use Travis Brocato at Bounce Multimedia as my host. Great guy and has very good pricing. Mike
