| PDA Detection Some websites (like CMN  ) can detect if you are browsing from a PDA.Is there an official name for this flag or test or whatever? Thanks.

| Within the traffic sent by your browser, there is a line called User Agent. Basically, this is an identifier (on the honor system) to give data about your browser in hopes of improving compatibility. It is one option in providing stylesheets targeted at different browsers, for example, such as a PDA-centric design. It can also be used to verify someone is using a browser that is necessary for certain technology on a site. You can do this is any dynamic language, even with Server Side Includes on Apache/Linux.
