Future upgrading advice needed

We recently upgraded our computer for our wirecast broadcasting. Some of the things we will have to work on now is sound and cameras. We have a feed coming from the main church sound feed but it's terrible. Sounds gret in the house but terrible on the live feed. Someone mentioned getting a second board for our end. If this is a good idea what should we get that would be good, but on a minimal budget.

The other thing is cameras. I know there are fairly cheap alternatives for cameras but our problem is a lack of cameramen. Lol. So there is a thought to change out to remote cameras. I was looking at the evi-100 and wondering if it's good, or if I shouldn't bother with.

Share some specifics with us, friend. In what ways is the sound feed terrible? Grungy, distorted, noisy, or do you not like the mix you are getting?

Remote cameras have their strengths and weaknesses. You still have to have someone to control them. If your pastor moves around a lot, tracking with remote cams will be, well, less than entirely fun, shall we say. Unless you have services where people stay in position with a high level of reliability, I would suggest at least one live, manned camera position.

Are you producing for IMAG in the room, or strictly for web or DVD?

Sound wise it just isn't mixed well as it is for the sanctuary. Some instruments don't come in clear while sometimes they aren't in enough. The problem is it is set up for the sanctuary to sound great and then I get the feed that goes to the cd. It's just not a great feed. So I'm thinking to split the incoming feed so that the sound guy tunes his to sound great in the sanctuary and I tune ours for the broadcast.

Our pastor does move around a lot and there is only 2 people running the video...me and one other guy. We have 2 cameras and mostly one is unmanned due. Cant run feed and camera at the same time. And no one else will offer to do it so it's just us 2. So I figured 2 of us can run the remote cameras and do the feed. If we have a lone manned camera that may work too I guess.

I'm an advocate of matrix-fed recorders if your console has them. What console do you have?

I'm not sure what you mean by console (noob still. Lol)

So this is our setup:
Computer usin wiredcast
3.4 i7
8gb ram.
Nvidia GeForce 560
No special cards like black magic.

2 cameras and stream to ustream and archive on a 1.5tb storage drive.
