| Videonics Mixer and Firewire - still a problem? I searched and found one old thread, instead of bring back the ancient thread I wanted to make a fresh post and see if anything has been figured out with these mixers. We recently purchased a lightly used sample of the Videonics MXproDV mixer and it is definitely a powerful - if not old - mixer. When connecting the DV output to a firewire input on any "modern" PC with known good firewire cable/card it simply does not show up. The old thread mentioned that videonics claimed their DV output will only work with 1 particular firewire card, is that really true? Does anyone out there know of a way to make the DV output work with a modern garden variety firewire card? TIA, Cameron |
