Also make sure the display port is in the right way.

We're running Lion. I had been using a 20ft hdmi cable to hook it up but I switched it with a 6ft one and all of a sudden it worked. I don't know if it was a faulty cable or what but it works now.

I'm glad this forum was here tho. Thanks guys!
