Premiere Pro CS4 DV Capture

Thought I would see if I could find some help with a problem I am experiencing. Using Premiere Pro CS4 on a MacPro with Leopard. When I shoot video in HDV, I can capture the video without any trouble. When I try to capture video that was shot in DV, using QuickTime capture settings, I get a very large amount of dropped frames and the entire video does not get captured. I am changing to DV on the camera playback. Have tried changing the capture location to a non-OS drive. I've really tried everything I could think of. Could it be a codec issue? It is my understanding that the QuickTime setting supports DV. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

I only had 7 dropped frames when the screensaver came on, but that was after the 4.1 upgrade. After the 4.1 upgrade, I also could no longer capture in HDV or create HDV projects. So I did a clean re-install of Premiere and its fixed now.
