| another way of doing it might be to use the regular vga output of the pc (assuming you have a dual vga card in the first place) to feed a switcher scaler that also allows for an sd video input, and scales that input up to the pc and/or projection resolution you're using. It just needs to have an additional downscaler to output simultaneously to sd tv for the dvd feed.
Hmmm...might need two different devices, after all-but regardless, this would give you a better signal at the projection end (if you're using one) and allows you to keep your projection from the screen at a higher resolution than you'd get from straight down scaling of the pc. |
