| Music motion Our pastor's wife went to a women's conference a couple of weekends ago and was really impressed with what was going on during the pre-service time. She said they were playing upbeat praise music without lyrics and the screens were showing motion graphics that were moving in time to the music. She wasn't able to describe it to me any better than that. I was just wondering if any of you do this and if so, how? Other than using DVD's or the visualization on iTunes I don't have a clue. I have tried to use the visualizer but it will only show on the computer itself. I'm guessing to get it to project I would need to reset my preferences to mirror the computer and I don't want to have to reset it once services begin. Any ideas? IMHO its a moot point because the pastor wants announcements shown during pre-service but if the pastor's wife is happy we are all happy. LOL |

| I have an iMac running ProPresenter. We are a 7 month old church and have a very basic set up. Using VGA connections through a 1x4 DA going to two front projectors and a 37" Flat Panel "confidence monitor". I run pre-service / post-service music through the soundboard from the iMac using iTunes. |

| LeAnn is right, WinAmp does have some great visualizations. If you can get away from using Pro Presenter during the pre-service you may be able to use WinAmp instead of itunes to play music out to the board - your visualizations would then be active. You could also play music off an ipod and split the line signal into both the board and the mac running winamp just as a visualization client.
