Slide Show in PE 4

I am trying to add a slide show already made in .wmv file to be apart of a video presentation. Only problem is when i add the slide show in PE 4 I think I am getting pixilation. The show appears like it is in tiny squares. Any help in trying to fix. Thanks.

Can you tell what the .wmv dimensions are? 320x240? 600x400? etc? If it is smaller than what your project settings are, that might be causing your pixelation as it's upsizing the .wmv to match your project settings (which are most likely NTSC...

Hope that helps..

solved but not

thanks, statler for your help. well i took the .wmv file and resaved it as an .avi file. This took care of the pixilation, but I ran into another issue. I burned the dvd and when i go to play it on the TV the pictures are too big for the screen. Any suggestions for that.

What software did you use to burn the DVD?

Again, I would check the project settings in PE to make sure you're encoding the final output AVI as NTSC (for North America) which should make it fit the TV correctly.
