| Cleaned before or after the problem started? If before - I would suggest that not all of the internal electrical connections have been put back correctly. In this case I would report the problem back to whoever cleaned the projectors and ask them to take your faulty projector apart again and re-seat everything. Check the projector out with them present to make sure you are happy. Does the projector come up with any 'fault codes' when it shuts down or not? Fault codes are usually indicated by on/off/flashing lamp sequences - see your manual for the projector for more details. One of our four projectors has developed a logic board fault which gives it a mind of its own... Yours may have developed a similar fault? The only realistic solution is to swap it out. Dave |

| We had a routine maintenance perhaps about six months ago through a subcontractor of our dealer. Some church members have been quite discontent with poor response and unprofessional attitudes from our installer during past issues - including charges without notification. So I get hesitant & don't feel much support to work with them as other things arise. I don't recall a lamp replacement within the past two years, though the filters were replaced during the recent maintenance. Perhaps I shall break down and contact them once again. Or see if one of their local competitors can help us out. Thank you.

If it's part of a chain, and the top-level manager doesn't do anything, contact the company head office, they will have a chat with that manager, and they can usually fix the problem, although sometimes that involves pink slips of paper. If that is not successful, then start talking to competitors. The problem with a sub-contractor is that the competitor may be the sub-contractor or the competitor may use the same sub-contractor. |
