Projector Color Flicker

I need help in trying to figure out a new flicker with our projectors. I have switched computers and there is still the flicker so I am assuming that it's not the computer or video card. The flicker is in both projectors and a secondary monitor.

The wiring goes like this. From the computer it goes to a video switcher/scaler. From there it goes to a 1:3 DA. One output goes directly to the secondary monitor and the other two go to a CAT converter and then to the projectors.

I have unstalled and re-installed all the cables and we still get the flicker.

The flicker is generally either a yellow tint flash that may stay for 0.5 to 3 seconds or the image disappears and reappears in a blink of the eye. That is almost un-noticable.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Bruce

Try removing components from your chain, so you can figure out which component is the problem (although, it could be more than one). For example, go from the switcher directly to the CAT5 balun, so you can see whether or not it's the DA that's introducing the problem.

It was the computer

I had switched out computers and I did see a flicker with the newer computer. I swear I did. It turns out that the video card in the old computyer finally gave out. Like no vidoe at all. I plugged in the newer computer and it's been working just fine. Go figure....
