What video format does SSP recommend?

SSP works best with WMV, but has no problem with AVI or MPG.

It works fine with m4p/mov, if you have the right codec installed. But it doesn't come that way out of the box.

If you can open the DVD as a data drive, go into the video-ts directory and figure out which VOB or VOBs you want.

Then you can copy them to your hard drive and rename .vob to .mpg and they should work fine. That's how I've handled the last several DVDs I've needed to play clips off of.

so if I just do the rename to .mpg then I wouldn't need to use Handbrake, correct?
