Projector Alignment Issue - MAC

Hi,

We are having some issues with our new projector and mac pro. Every time we turn on the project and computer the alignment is slightly off on our screen. It's not consistently off in the same way, a little random.

We are using corner pinning feature in propresenter 5 to bring it back into alignment each sunday, but are looking for a more permanent fix.

Any ideas as to why this may be?

Mac Pro 2.66 quad core, running Leopard.

What projector are you using, what are the dimensions of your screen, and what resolution are you sending the projector from your computer?

If you simply "plugged and played" on the Mac without using the "Detect Displays" option in the Displays System Preferences, it may not be syncing to the best resolution and refresh rate.

arre you also sending to a flat panel with different aspect ratio than the projector? You may need a scalar to fix the problem if you have multiple aspect ratios
