| Projection Dilema Our church is a very old downtown Baptist church with a very conservative older congregation and limited funds. The members are finally and reluctantly ready for a projection system. The caveat is that they don't want anything hung from the ceiling, and there is no possibility of rear projection. The only possibility I have found that I think will be acceptable to the congregation is to mount the projectors in the balcony. We have a baptistry in the middle of the wall behind choir loft with a 136" wide space on each side of the baptistry. The distance from the balcony to this wall is 63'. Sanctuary is 54' wide. Our spending budget is $10,000. I am looking at a couple of Infocus IN5106 (5K lumens) and their lens-040 long throw, projecting on each side of the baptistry. The sanctuary can be darkened significantly during projection use. Does this sound like a viable system? |

| I am not a huge fan of Infocus projectors. Of course, you can't totally blanket judge a company, but Infocus is certainly low on my list of "quality" projectors. $10000 is going to be tight for what you need, but I think it can be done.
