| Video Campus Setup Hi, We are looking at setting up a 2nd campus where we stream the teaching from our main campus. I'm curious as to what others are doing in regards to video screen setup on the receiving side and the camera setup/angles on the source side. We'll have live worship and then use the video for the teaching only. So ... How many screens? How many cameras shooting the teacher? How do you handle cutting from one camera to another, if you use more than one? What angles/zoom levels do you use? Do you stream the slides or do you manage those at the local level? Thanks for your input! |

| Video Campus We use three screens. The two sides screens are used for displaying the lyrics during worship and to display fill-ins and verses during the sermon. All lyrics, fill-ins, etc. are controlled locally. A motorized middle screen is lowered just prior to the sermon while a lead-in video is played on the side screens. The middle screen is lowered to a position that makes it appear that the pastor is standing on the stage, so we use a fairly static, single camera video from the main campus. The camera generally shows a full shot of the pastor. We do not stream live, we have a recorded service video. The middle screen projector has a remote shutter that prevents stray light while the middle screen is up. We use a rack mount switcher (Analog Way Easy Fade EFD-341) to perform switching, so any input can be fed to any screen.
