Lobby Screen Announcements

Hi Everyone!

We currently use two TV's in our lobby(HDMI TVs mounted containing HDMI ports, SVideo and Composite) to display upcoming events, conferences, and ministry needs. Currently, we are running "slides" from a USB stick that plays looped images for the duration of our services. It

There must be a better way to do this.

Would anyone else use, or know of, any hardware that can perform this a bit easily and/or possibly remotely. We do use remote login software, but I would hate to tie up two computers, and need to purchase an HDMI converter port for the PCs. Note: The TVs unfortunately do not have a VGA or DVI video port.. and its requested that each TV shows different content..

Hope this helps , and thank you in advance for input!
Jer

Apple tvs have the ability to play a sideshow via a web based photo album that you can edit/add to from anywhere with a Internet connection, then the apple tvs would automatically update the slides when you do

HDMI compatible and you just create a Flickr gallery for it to display. You can have a different one on each TV. Easy.

We use AppleTVs all over. Two in the foyer play announcements via Keynote presentations converted to Qicktime movies. AppleTVs in the nurseries stream childrens videos from our central iTunes server.

Thank you everyone! This looks like the route to go. It will definitely ease up on some administration.
