Using Apple TV for Announcements

We've have recently received 3 flat screens and we plan on hanging two in our foyer and one in our coffee room. The purpose of these would be to inform people of our announcements before and after the services. Also, during the service we would like to have whatever is on the sanctuary screens on the flat screens. I was thinking about getting an Apple TV and an HDMI splitter to get the announcements to the screens. I know you can use a flickr account and have a slideshow playing of the announcements, but once the service starts, I dont know of a way to have the flat screens the same as our sanctuary screens. Does anyone have any ideas or tips on this? Also, we do use an iMac with ProPresenter for the sanctuary screens.

I've tried using the apple TV with two screens before and an HDMI splitter, and it's a little temperamental. The Apple TV isn't really made for multiple TVs because of it's HDCP. I was able to get it to work... some of the time. Given how much HDMI cabling is, and a decent HDMI splitter... vs the cost of an Apple TV (they sell them refurb for $85) - i'd suggest you use 3 apple TVs.

All that said - I don't think you'd be able to stream your services to them from the iMac.

Depending on the TV you may not need the Apple box. We hung three Sony Bravia TVs, hooked them up to the network, and stream announcements off our NAS.

@prochlea - thanks for The help, do you have any other ideas on how to do it? We would like to be streaming or doing a live video feed soon.
@mustangnaz - I know 2 of the tvs are 32" LGs and I think the other one is a Sony but I'm not sure. During the service, do y'all have a video feed or is it still announcements?
