Enthusiastic Brand New Guy Wants You to Support His Vision

Hello. I have a great project and need a number of Christians who are excited about Christ, sharing Him with others, and using their gifts to do. My name is Tray and I am a graduate both in Marketing and Christian Ministry. I have an awesome web concept that I think will be a huge tools in reaching people, but I am needing help in this project; web designers, writers, evangelist, videographers, etc.

Its rather hard to explain the complete essence of this project. I came out of a very difficult lifestyle 8 years ago when I accepted the Lord. It was a radical change, that I wanted everyone to understand that Christ truly does set people free from the troubles of this life, granted not all of them, but it was "for freedom that Christ came to set people free."

In this deep desire and calling to reach people with the gifting that God has given me through Marketing and Ministry, I have felt His leading in doing this project.....and I believe it could be an amazing tools in reaching the lost for Christ.

The project would eventually be 3 websites due to my deep burdens (College-Age, Teens and Marrieds) The point is to engage those who do not know the Lord with helping to see things from a "different" perspective. Just as Christ listened to people and said, "you say this, but I say....." We will reach people by first listening and addressing the tough issues in life.

For College-Age we will be dealing with Choices, Addicition, Suicide, Pregnancy, Relationships, etc. in a real cutting-edge way using the internet as the platform initially.
The website will be very contemporary in nature with video clips, audio clips, articles and so on. We will use the Word of God to redirect them into understanding God from an entirely different perspective leading them to understanding the Truth, just as Christ did to the two men on the Road to Emmaus, (read it) it says that they felt the burning inside them as Christ spoke (the conviction of the Holy Spirit). We will use edgy ways to reach them on this sight. Some Christian my think we are pushing the boundaries, but without sinning in the process, I want to reach these people where they are at.

Which leads to the next phase. Having people use this website along with canned materials for any church or group wanting to purchase them for the purpose of reaching people in their own hometowns across the nation. Yes, it is a big vision. I will need the help from the "body of Christ" to do this. We will need Web Designers, Graphic Designers, Writers, Videographers, etc to do this. And we don't have to be perfect at our skills to do this, we just have to be willing to serve and grow with this project and our gifting. I personally have a number of things that I need to improve upon in the process, but God has shown me the need to be faithful and serve, and rely on the help of the entire body, not making this project just for myself alone, but truly being the 1 Corinthians 12 project. Working together to reach people.

The vision is that people, whether evangelist or not, will get engaged in their own cities to share Christ in full, or lead them to this resource that will help in reaching them in a non- evasive, non-"churchianty" type way.

It will have very transparent testimonies of people being saved out of hard lives, it will dispell the myths that people believe in the world today about church and Christians, it will share what God's real desire for us is in relationships, it will deal with very difficult topics.

The point is......people are seeking and hurting out there......and most people do share as God instructs us. God said the Harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.........lets reach the lost, change the way that Christians engage, and be a beacon of hope to all who are hurting and are ready to end this life. I have had 3 friends who did.

Christians need to be the voice in a hurting world.

I have more ideas, but I need the team together to discuss them. I have two available to begin helping........but I told God that I would being a search and let him build the team. I want him to build this project and team, so that it is completely to his glory and not mine.

If you are interested, please let me know how you feel led to help, and we will begin walking forward in seeing this come together. Be aware, it may move fast, or it may be slow, but this is something we need to be flexible in seeing this happen. God has been building it in me for a year now. And I have ideas and scribbling in my computer that I think are a good jumping board.

I also have an idea in the future for a site for churched people.

This is a very casual group of Christians coming together, nothing too formal......we will be led by God. And just use of gifts to glorify Him.

I have a number of Godly people that are willing to provide Godly Council during the project so that accountability is present.

Note: I believe that to make sure that everyone involved is in unity of Faith, I will have a Statement of Faith, listing out core Christian beliefs that I want to make sure everyone agrees with before coming together on this team. Outside the fundamental principles of of the Faith, "a house divided, will not stand."
