Where to Mount receptacle box for par cans?

Hi,
We installed 1-1/2" battons installed above (in front of) our stage to clamp stage lighting to (One 5' pipe on each side of the projection screen).
We havent purchased any fixtures yet, but we are looking at probably 3 par 56 cans on each pipe, at 300W each. We arent going to do anything fancy with controllers or dimming yet. We are just going to use a 2000w rotary dimmer for now. We decided to do this instead of track lighting because it will be something we could re-use later if we add additional lighting, but it would throw a little light on our dark stage.

At the time this was done, we had a new circuit added for the lighting. The panel is not too far away, so we could easily add more circuits in the future. Its just one dedicated 20A circuit for now, which will be enough for 6 300w fixtures.

The armored cable is strapped to the lighting battons with zip ties for now, but there is nothing wired up.
I see that most of the fixtures only come with 2' cords.
Where do most people mount boxes to plug in the lights? It looks like the only option is going to be strapping an electrical box to the batton itself, or making up extension cords for the lighting.
I've seen relay packs on portable lighting trees, and they are usually strapped in the middle of the tree.
I'm thinking of using standoff straps to mount two handi-boxes on each pipe (on each side of the center light) to plug the lights into. I dont know of any other type of clamp that would work
I know I am going to get the "you should have hired a lighting expert" answer... but I'm going to try to ignore those. This is a need right now. The stage is dark, and we dont have the funds to do anything else. So far we have about $100 in the project (battons, hardware, wire, etc). We intend to purchase some cheap par 56 cans (American DJ kit with clamps lamps and gels for $50 each), a couple at a time as we have the money, and want to be ready to clamp them on and plug them in.

Any advice on where to put the outlets?
