| Hi there... Chamsys is great for the money.... The software is so extensive its easy to get lost. The interface was designed with "seasoned" folks in mind, its not as pretty and friendly as Vista. If you are wanting to "hand the keys" to the lighting volunteer with little/no training and expect them to make Hillsong DVD looks, then your volunteers will hate it... If you want to setup some palettes, effects and some goto looks ahead of time and have your volunteers run on the fly, then its great.... To get into the meat of the software will take some time and tinkering. I like it, our volunteers seem to get the hang of it. I've put 6 wings in churches around town.... for the money, its great. http://www.onstagelighting.co.uk/ has some great tutorials that takes you from installing the software all the way to making cue stacks with effects, complex times. http://www.youtube.com/user/lampyken Chamsys has some video tutorials now...
