Music box music

We are doing a drama that centers around a lady and her granddaughter discussing a music box. One of the scenes involves them discussing how the tune was the grandparent's first dance together and we would like to have the music box music fade into the real actual recording as the grandmother recalls the memory.
The problem is- where do I find music box songs? I tried, albeit briefly, to run a search, but couldn't see anything. Or is there another way to make a recorded song sound like it is from a music box? We are hoping to use something like Moonlight Seranade or similair.....

Try Here http://www.freesound.org/searchText.php and type in MUSICBOX

Good Luck

Don't forget to try variations on your search......ie Music Box (spaced) Etc.

Many synthesizers have music box samples in them. If you have one, you could record your piano player playing the song you want to use and then fade it into the studio recording...

A little more work, but far more likely to "match up" between the two.

There is a CD of Rita Ford's christmas music boxes... some don't sound like christmas carols. I think napster or itunes may have it too. Great CD for christmas too.
