| Have some fun with your ministry We were talking in another thread about different ways to get people involved in helping on your media team, tech team, technical arts, multimedia, etc. One of my suggestions was to make a fun video that will remind your church that serving in ministry is fun as well! Here is a video our media team put together as a spoof: http://vimeo.com/42295060

| This is a little different context because we had our whole Worship Ministries here not just tech team and we weren't recruiting just thanking them. We first showed this at our annual volunteer appreciation dinner. Anyway, here's our attempt at some fun. |

| Sam, I find it interesting, if we ask for volunteers for anything, the silence is deafening, but if you have a vague idea of who can help and ask them personally, you usually get some help. The only problem is, in a church that ranges from >50 in the summer to <25 in the winter, the same 5 or 6 people are involved in everything and they can't usually add anything more. My worship team ranges from a Hymn-master --think very bad organist in a box -- to a pianist and 3 singers, although one of those is moving on.... |
