| We've used Audacity for a while, and even though our new mixing desk - a Yamaha LS9 - records MP3 straight to a USB stick, we still copy that into Audacity to add Meta data and re-sample it for use on the web (we could still record straight to Audacity, but the direct desk quality is better than the computers sound card).
On the server we run a program Dircaster which reads the Meta and automatically creates an iTunes compatible RSS stream, so all the volunteers have to do is upload it and people can download the sermon to their phones before even leaving the chapel. |
