Wow. For me, that sounds like the dream job. I'm happy for you and your wife! Personally I would love doing that myself, but unfortunately our church can't afford paying anyone for something like that.

I've just finished (what would relate most to) high school, and in august I'm starting a year at our own bible school. After that I'm planning to start on a three years journalist study.

I'm also working a bit with freelancing at a stage hand company. I get to build and rig huge venues, doing all the stuff I love to do at my church (just in a smaller scale, lol).

I work as a human resource consultant.

But my real goal is to write a book, which I completed last year 2012. It is now published. Entitled "Understanding Prayer, Faith and God's Will". I m really happy taht I have reach the goal. About the book>>

Do unanswered prayers cast inner doubts on your faith? Do you seek God’s will for your plans but are not able to discern His guidance? Do you face perpetual problems of job insecurity, financial burden and health issues?

“Understanding Prayer, Faith and God's Will” looks at real-life problems that we face in prayer, as well as seeking God's will. It then present biblical truths not realized bef...ore - truths that we can see and apply in our human journey. By clarifying wrong notions about prayer and God’s will. it will change the way you see – and seek – God’s will. When faith is strengthened by knowledge and understanding, we will go on to pray and serve God with conviction. The book will be released 2012 Feb 12, but is now available by order from Tate Publishing.

There are 12 chapters in this book:
1. Inner Doubts
2. What does the Bible mean?
3. Prayer: What did Jesus Intend to tell us?
4. "Why doesn't God answer more prayers?"
5. To Pray Again
6. Does Sin impede prayer?
7. Faith in God
8. How does God call people?
9. Understanding God's Will
10 Being in God's will
11 Journey of the Bible
12 Reading the Scripture Fruitfully

My Occupation Vrs Vocation

As my experience in sound started with a willing heart that bloomed into dedication, vision then somehow being voted by the board to be the head of the sound team/AV department. I work as a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room and currently going to Nursing school. My mission is two fold as God has shown me that I'm a better helper than a leader and through being a servant through Christ I can be a leader in the world. My occupation complements my sound skills as in the OR dealing with traumatic injuries and life. I'm able to focus on the task at hand and not get lost in the emotional areas that come with it. With sound many times the person running the board can get lost in the message or song and miss specific cues or situations that could have been avoided. I don't always get the message though I hear all aspects of it so I listen in the car on the way to work. We all do a humbling part in the church as we're in the back round and not on the stage in the spotlight. many times people want to be noticed for what they do and forget that unto Christ all is done and he notices. As my wife says I'm long winded.

God Bless

You have become a wise servant and will be blessed in it.

What I do.

Laid off after 34 years in broadcasting, I've moved from Florida to North Georgia and started my own video production business. I've just teamed up with a local news website and we're about to begin the only video newscast for three area counties. I'm also producing commercials for local businesses for broadcast and the web.

After my layoff in Florida, I began a video ministry there in my church: live and on-demand webcasts and video supporting things like building campaigns and the youth ministry. I was able to train enough folks that the ministry continues to thrive and I get to enjoy it from 400 miles north!

Here in my new home in Georgia, I just installed an HD switcher and 3 cameras and started live webcasts here at my new church. We are currently using locked-down camera shots as we train our new volunteers. They should be up and running in a few weeks. Now if we could just afford to replace the french fry warmers in our ceiling with some real lighting...

Love this thread. Keep it going. - Michael

I'm a video editor girl, I sell videos to youtubers. Generally I create videos with professional video editing program, and I learn how to edit videos all by myself since I was a little girl in middle school
