downloading in Chrome

my pastor has Chrome installed on his home computer; his complaint is that when he downloads files, pictures, videos, etc. the program does not give him the chance to tell it where to download; everything goes into the download folder. The only option he's given is whether to open or to save. can anyone tell me where he needs to change that setting.

thanks
mary

Click on the wrench in the upper right corner, then "Show Advanced Settings...", Scroll down that there is a downloads section.

You can specify a new folder to download to, or you can check a box that will "Ask where to save each file before downloading"

The downloads folder is a very logical choice to save all files since you can click Window in the menu then go right to Downloads.

I use Chrome exclusively for several years now.

downloads

thanks; but his problem is that he subscribes to several sites for pictures, etc and they are not named but numbered. so, he needs to 'name' them and place them where he can easily search for them. He likes Chrome otherwise. He was complaining about it to me and I said I know where to go to get the answer!!
