Tomboy Notes now cross platform

The popular linux based note taking application Tomboy has officially become cross platform and is fully supported on both Windows and Mac OS with the latest release. For me this is great news as I switch back and forth between Ubuntu and Windows several times a week. Tomboy is now among the pieces of note taking software that will work across all three major operating systems.

Although Tomboy supports syncing notes through various methods I've also found this tutorial to sync Tomboy notes through Dropbox. Having used Evernote for note taking and a sticky note application to display notes at church I'm happy to have one application that I can do both with from anywhere I need to.
